#23 | Romania - Bulgaria

Today is the last day in Romania and I could not leave without seeing the second largest building in the world: the paletui parlamentului in Bucharest. I have to visit this country again because I missed to visit familiar people and many interesting places.

I must say that I liked the city of Bucharest: it is a very quiet and safe city at first sight, you can eat very well and there are many possibilities to do whatever you want.

A few kilometers from Bucharest I find the border to enter Bulgaria from Romania: Ruse; and I don’t find any inconvenience, I pass it quickly. My idea today in Bulgaria is to follow the routes I have planned and to get as close as possible to the tire supplier ITP that I have to visit tomorrow because we have to make the wheel change and the general overhaul.

The Bulgarian route of the first day takes me through forests and mountains. Making some small stops I found the Monastery of the Holy Transfiguration of God, which is one of the five stauropegic monasteries of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church.

After taking out the drone and visiting the monastery, I drove to the town of Verniko Tarnovo, where I could enjoy the view from the wall, and I went to the center following the river that borders the town. Still, it is a pretty touristy town and I felt a little lost among the cars and people.

Finally, the route took me to Gabrobo, where I stayed for dinner and sleep.
