Fifth day in Turkey, I wake up in a campsite at the Abant Golü Lake. I make a full breakfast with different kinds of toast with sauces to spread my favorite, a fried egg and a coffee. Great. Once I regained my strength, a long day full of kilometers awaited me. There are a lot of kilometers in Turkey and I’m not even halfway through.

I start my route through Mudurnu City, a $200 million ghost town in Turkey filled with castles reminiscent of Disneyland. Spectacular. I take out the drone and record several maps of this ghost town. I dare say it’s one of the largest ghost towns I’ve ever seen.

I keep routing and encounter different kinds of animals, landscapes and small infrastructures in the middle of the road. How beautiful Turkey is! As I’m doing kilometers, I finish Turkey’s trail number 5 and start trail number 6, when I finish it, I won’t even be halfway through the trails.

Finally I reach Karabük. It’s getting dark and I need a hotel to rest and get some energy for tomorrow. After comparing a few, I find the one I’ll stay in today.
