I wake up in Mazeri, surrounded by nature and mountains. I have breakfast. Then I get on the road. Today’s goal was to ride through the Caucasus Mountains, but it was not possible.

When I started the route it was cloudy and not raining, but a few kilometers later it started to rain. Then I came to the first village I found: Mestia. I decided to spend the day there because I wanted to see the Caucasus Mountains in detail and without rain.

When I arrived there, while I was going through the streets with the quad, it reminded me of one of the villages in the north of Catalonia, because it had about two thousand inhabitants, the streets were made of stone and they lived mostly from tourism.

While I was doing the route to find a place to stay, I realized that in Mestia there were many defense towers. I was able to find a guesthouse attached to one of these towers. The owner explained to me that each family had their own defense tower and let me in to see it. He had a museum of relics for the tourists and he explained to me what each thing was for. it was amazing!

If you want to go, you can find it under this name: k.niguriani guesthouse museum. Finally, I went to lunch, to the guest house to do some work that was on hold in the archives, and then to dinner. Today was a short day, but it will be worth the wait to get a good look at the Caucasus Mountains!
