Today was the worst route day of the 41 days I’ve been on the road. It was not because of the difficulty of the quad route, but because of the lack of strength. I had not eaten since breakfast yesterday and I had not rested because I was in a tent in the middle of the forest. I had no strength to face the day.

I started the route from where I camped last night. I had to look for the right route to get to a town or city to get my strength back. I started on a road that was in very bad condition and the wheels of the quad were sinking as I passed. Crossing roads where I had to use sticks and stones to hold the quad and losing a lot of physical strength because I got stuck in some sections. Until I reached a point where I could not go any further. I lost three hours of the day and went to the starting point where I was when I woke up.

From there it went better. I went through all the most unstable muddy roads and passed through several mountain villages: Tkibuli, Borjomi, Bakuriani and Akhalkalaki. I stopped for lunch at 11 am. I regained all my strength to continue.

Finally, after more than 300 kilometers, I crossed the border between Georgia and Armenia: Ninotsminda. There I had no problem to enter the country. The weather was bad, it was raining, I had bad visibility because of the fog that was forming, and I decided to have dinner and sleep in a hotel for truckers that I found in Torosgyugh. There they prepared me a complete dinner and I was able to rest in bed.
